    Robert L. Moore leads the Development Corporation of Columbia Heights as President and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Moore has an extensive background in urban policy, housing, economic development and community-building.  Over the course of his career he has held numerous leadership positions, including the following:  Director for the District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development;  Executive Director, the Housing Authority of Houston;  Assistant to the President for Planning and Development, Texas Southern University;  and Special Assistant to the Secretary for Community Development, US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor's Degree from Johnson C. Smith University and a Master's Degree in Urban Studies from Howard University.
