DC USA Grand Opening
DC USA. It is almost here and we couldn’t be more excited. Located across from the Columbia Heights metro station at 14th and Irving Streets, NW, DC USA will bring the first urban Target and will also be home to Lane Bryant, Marshalls, Washington Sports Club, Best Buy, and Bed, Bath & Beyond, among other stores. With approximately 540,000 in square feet, the DC USA retail center will provide not only Columbia Heights residents, but DC residents a more diverse and close place to shop, work and eat.
The Development Corporation of Columbia Heights (DCCH), Gotham Organization Inc., Joseph Searles III and Grid Properties will be unveiling the new retail complex on March 8, 2008. The Ribbon Cutting will be held from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. Invited guests include Washington, DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, Ward One Councilmember Jim Graham, and ANC1A. Reception is to follow, sponsored by Citi Community Capital.
