| We will be hosting a dynamic
group of presenters from development companies, retail businesses, local
agencies, organizations and franchise companies this year. We believe
that the seminar will be an important event for the following reasons:
• Developers, franchises and real estate agents from multiple companies will be present to provide an update and answer questions regarding recent development activities, business and retail opportunities, available financing. See the linked Agenda and Presenting Companies List for the names of those who have already agreed to participate. • The seminar is a valuable opportunity for potential entrepreneurs, business owners, financing entities, leasing agents and developers to interact in both group and one-on-one settings. • This is a wonderful showcase opportunity for real estate agents, developers, the local and business community to know what is being built and what is available in their neighborhood. • Entrepreneurs and business owners can find out what's available for retail businesses and how to get the financing to make it possible. • The showcase is for all projects developed, under development or in planning for Columbia Heights, U Street, Shaw, Georgia Avenue, surrounding areas and across the city. $20 registration fee includes continental breakfast and a free reception from 12:45 PM to 2:30 PM. Please extend our invitation to any individuals or groups interested in starting or expanding a business. The time is NOW. If you have any further questions, please contact the Business Development office at 202-483-4986 or via e-mail: Janet Lugo-Tafur jlugo-tafur@dcch.org We look forward to seeing you. |
